Texas Pit Crew is a cause that is near and dear to our hearts. Ouyr owner already loved the bully breed but it wasn't until she found Texas Pit Crew that she started getting heavily involved with the . bully rescue and anti-BSL legislation.
Texas Pit Crew is a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer ran organization dedicated to eradicating animal cruelty to all breeds in Wichita and surrounding counties. While they will help any animal in need that they can, they seek to promote the bully breed as the loving and loyal animals they are. They hold adoption events throughout the year and during the colder months, they hit the streets looking for neglected and/or dogs in need. They even hand out cold weather supplies and educate owners about proper dog ownership and community resources.
Photographed here is "Honey" and was one of our favorite dogs to photograph at the shelter. Websites for Wags and its partners are strongly opposed to any form of BSL (Breed Specific Legislation). Our founder and owner has two rescued pit-bulls and has fostered many more in her home.
The Stand Up For Pits Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to saving lives and ending the abuse and discrimination of Pit Bull “type” dogs (Pibbles) through live events, funds, education and advocacy. They believe in new ways, new thinking and new change, and are committed to empowering others to do the same until abuse and discrimination against our beautiful Pit Bull type dogs ends.
We volunteer and foster with ARR. They are a wonderful rescue in the Denver area and rescue dogs from more needy areas - like Kansas!
Animal Rescue of the Rockies is a 501(c)3 non profit Colorado corporation. Organized in 2003 by a group of friends who wanted to provide an alternative to shelter environments, A.R.R. has served this vision well. They’ve successfully provided foster homes and subsequent permanent homes to over 2,500 dogs and cats to date. They work exclusively with foster homes to give homeless pets the chance to socialize in a home environment. This gives them the advantage of transitioning to their new forever homes much more easily and quickly.
